Just a brief introduction.
I’m Shikin (pronounced she-kin) and I’ve been a trained Barista (coffee specialist) for almost two years now. I specialise in the knowledge of anything pertaining to coffee. Although my web log here is dedicated to espresso/cappuccino machines and coffee makers, you are welcome to e-mail me (shikinr@gmail.com) if you have any queries on coffee recipes, coffee roasts/brews and so on.
Why i am creating this blog? I am trying to educate you coffee lovers out there who want to save money on Starbucks or The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. You could actually save a lot more when you purchase a great machine and be your own barista everyday, making your own americanos, lattes and cappuccinos.
I’ll try my very best to help you every single step of the way.

Well learning a little more about your subject before trying to inform people might be helpful.
The information on Espresso is mostly either incorrect or misleading
Foaming milk isn”t really very helpful or detailed enough for anyone to have any success.
I realise you have 2 years experience….but really, it’s not enough and you do need to put in a little more work researching and planning your articles.

at your website at the ‘About Me’ section, you may recall that you said that your opinions are based on personal experience but it does not make them right. That’s pretty much true.
Though my experience is not much, my articles have been approved by my mentor, a Master Barista who have won numerous awards.
You may be a coffee lover but not much of an expert, so I really can’t trust your comments now can I?

very informative i must say….
even if i do drink coffee once in a while, it does make me wonder whther i shud get my hands on one of those coffee machines given the right price and stuffs.. keeeep on goin shikin… ur website is very much appreciated..
